Client-Side Representative

The growing technical complexity and economic risk associated with modern construction projects has proven that client-side representation is a valuable proposition to the New Zealand Construction Market.

When Novacon is engaged as a Client-Side Representative (CSR), we will be the conduit between the principal and all stakeholders involved in the construction process. We will ensure your vision and objectives captured during the pre-construction phase are effectively communicated and upheld during the build process. Our experience and in-depth knowledge of industry practices, building legislation and local territorial regulations will enable mitigation of cost over runs and project delays.

Contract Administration

Contract Administration is the management of the contract between the client and the building contractor. The core function of the Contract Administrator is to ensure the contract is executed in accordance with the terms set out in the contract.

As a Contract Administrator Novacon can represent the client, the contractor or be engaged as a third party. During the pre – construction phase we can read through the contract to identify advantages, disadvantages, where there is room for negotiation and when further legal advice would be recommended. With our experience over multiple projects Novacon are result-oriented, quality-focused and detail driven during the execution phase of administrating a construction contract.

Construction Management

Construction Management is a professional service that applies industry specific project management techniques to oversee the planning, design and implementation of any construction project. Construction Management is vital to successfully completing the project on time and within budget.

At Novacon our pre-construction process streamlines project delivery. Our creative approach to strategy, planning and controls mean we maintain high quality construction, stay on schedule and minimise costs effectively over the life cycle of a project.

Novacon's Services

A construction project might include you the building owner, architects, engineers, interior designers, contractors, cost estimators, landscape architects and more. All of these teams bring specific expertise but none are qualified and responsible for ensuring the project definition, specifications, scope, budget and scheduling are all managed and quality controlled.
